Refund Policy
Free tier first
MarginPal's free tier is permanently usable — try it before buying. Pro only removes usage limits (unlimited calculations, full search badges, unlimited list, CSV export).
Refund window
- First purchase: full refund within 7 days of purchase, no questions asked.
- Renewals: full refund within 7 days of a renewal charge, provided you have not made significant use of Pro features in the new period (in practice: fewer than 5 product calculations since the renewal).
- Refunds return the full price paid for the billing period in question. Earlier, used periods are not refundable.
How to request a refund
Email support@marginpal.app with your order ID (in your receipt from Creem) and, where relevant, your license key. We process approved refunds through Creem, our Merchant of Record; the money returns by the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.
Cancelling renewals
Cancel any time from the customer billing portal (link in your receipt email) or by emailing support. Cancellation stops future charges immediately; Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling is not the same as requesting a refund — you can do either or both.
Abuse
We may decline refunds in cases of clear abuse (e.g., repeated purchase-refund cycles of the same license).
EU/UK consumers
Nothing in this policy limits statutory consumer rights, including the statutory right of withdrawal where applicable.
