Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the MarginPal browser extension ("the Extension") and the optional MarginPal Pro subscription ("Pro"). By installing the Extension or purchasing Pro you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension for your personal or internal business purposes. You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the Extension except as permitted by applicable law.
3. Subscriptions and billing (Pro)
- Pro is available as a monthly subscription ($9/month) or yearly subscription ($79/year), or as otherwise displayed on our pricing page at the time of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
- You may cancel at any time from the customer billing portal (link in your receipt email) or by contacting support@marginpal.app. Cancellation stops future renewals; Pro remains active until the end of the paid period.
- Payments are processed by Creem (creem.io) as Merchant of Record. Prices include applicable taxes where required, or taxes are added at checkout as displayed.
- A license key may be used on up to 3 devices of the licensee.
4. Estimates — important disclaimer
All fee, profit, ROI, and break-even figures produced by MarginPal are estimates. They are computed from publicly available fee schedules bundled with or downloaded by the Extension, not from official real-time Amazon data. Amazon's actual fees may differ (fee changes, product-specific rules, promotions, currency conversion). MarginPal is a decision-support tool, not a source of authoritative fee information. You remain solely responsible for any purchasing, pricing, or business decision made in reliance on the Extension. Verify material decisions against Amazon's official tools (e.g., the Revenue Calculator).
5. Availability
Amazon website layouts change frequently. We aim to keep page-reading features working and to update fee tables regularly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. When a page cannot be read, the Extension degrades to manual input. Features may be added, changed, or removed; if we materially reduce Pro functionality we will announce it in advance.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Extension only in compliance with the terms of service of websites you visit (including Amazon's), and not to use it for unlawful purposes or to circumvent any website's technical protections. The Extension only reads data from pages you open in your own browser; you agree not to modify it for bulk scraping or automated data collection.
7. Intellectual property
The Extension, its code, design, and content are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Amazon and Keepa are trademarks of their respective owners; MarginPal is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc. or Keepa.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ACCURACY OF ESTIMATES.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to the Extension or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost inventory costs, or overpaid platform fees.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Extension at any time (uninstall). We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, with notice where practicable.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; the current version is always at this URL. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of residence, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in the buyer's country of residence. Disputes will first be addressed by good-faith negotiation via support@marginpal.app.
